Behind the Board

Behind the Board opens the conversation around recording, mixing, production, and the relationships that shape a studio session. Engineers, producers, and artists explain their creative choices, share lessons from their workflows, and discuss how collaboration affects the finished record. The podcast brings recognition to the technical talent behind the music while helping listeners understand how sound becomes storytelling.

Founded on October 27, 2026, by UMG Network Collective / UMG Artist / UMG Records Founder & Architect Mr. Ruben Burgos—published poet, acclaimed actor, and master executive producer / engineer—Behind the Board was created to empower artists through content development, syndication, and global branding. Burgos established the concept to highlight production knowledge and help creators communicate the value of their craft.
